On Sunday in Rock Spring WY the WWCC Mustangs ended their 2008 season with a loss to LCCC Golden Eagles. The match ended in a 3 - 0 score line in favor of LCCC. Since a NJCAA team has to win their Region Tournament to be able to continue their season the loss meant the end to the best season in the Mustang's young history. Not only did this fall see WWCC's first win over LCCC, but it also saw their first appearance in the Region IX championship game, their first Region IX tournament win and their first winning record (10 - 8 - 0) as an intercollegiate program. It has been a great season and we at WWCC would like to thank all those people who supported us both on the pitch and off of it. We hope that we have made you proud and can continue to grow to be one of the premier NJCAA soccer teams around.
