Mustangs Beat The Sasquatch

On Friday, opening day of the regular season, the WWCC Mustangs battled the Sasquatch of the Community Colleges of Spokane at the Spokane Falls CC Campus. This was the first ever meeting between these schools on the pitch. On a very hot day, the two teams played a very close and even match. The overall stats where as follows: CCS 10 shots, WWCC 9 shots; CCS 5 Keeper saves, WWCC 4 keeper saves; CCS 4 corner kicks and WWCC 4 corner kicks. Lake of the Mustangs hit a 20 yard shot that found the top right of the net and gave WWCC the opening day win and their first win against a team from the NWAAC and a team from the state of Washington.
