The second half started well for the Mustangs as they scored twice in the first 11 minutes of the half. Ten minutes into the half Braxton Hamilton scored off of an assist from Gilbert Gonzalez. One minute later Gilbert Gonzalez achieved his hat trick when he scored into the bottom left of the goal. Miguel Maca was credited with the assist for Gilbert's third goal. The Rival got a goal closer when they beat the WWCC defense and keeper, Todd West, in the 74th minute for a score of 5 - 2. The Mustangs scored an insurance goal in the 80th minute from Angel Muniz after Gilbert Gonzalez dropped Angel a ball at around the 18 yard box. The Rival added a late goal with around 30 seconds left to make the final score 6 - 3.

Workhorse of the Match - Gilbert Gonzalez, he scored 3 goals (first hat trick for a Mustang this season) and had 2 assists. Gilbert's excellent day was the 3rd best offensive day for any WWCC player in the program's history with 8 offensive points.
