
Spencer Dayley a soon to be graduate from Sugar Salem High in Sugar City Idaho has signed a National Letter of Intent to play collegiate soccer at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY.
A four-year starter for the Sugar-Salem High School boys soccer team is continuing his career in college.
Spencer is a center midfielder who has had a ton of success both on and off of the field.

As a player, Spencer was named the 2018 3A District 6 Boy's Soccer All Conference Player of the Year. As a senior Dayley scored 11 goals and tallied 11 assists. During his junior year Spencer netted 20 goals while helping out with 16 assists.

While playing for SSHS Diggers, Dayley helped the team win back-to-back District Championships on 2017 and 2018. Spencer and his teammates also participated in four straight trips to the Idaho State Soccer Tournament. His senior year the team's record was 18-2-1 and they earned the 3A Consolation Trophy at the state tournament. In 2017, Dayley's junior season the team returned from the state tournament with a 3A 3rd place trophy.
Sugar Salem's soccer coaches described Spencer as, “one
of the most consistent, hardworking, and talented players to play for
the Diggers. He has been a
four-year starter for us. He’s always ready to play, and he’s fun to
watch.”
Spencer is a wonderful student who carries a 4.0 GPA with him throughout his high school career. Spencer is carrying on a family tradition as his older sister Melia Dayley played soccer at WWCC in 2014 and 2015.
Western is excited to add such a tremendous player, student and soccer player in Spencer Dayley. We anticipate that Spencer will have an immediate impact for WWCC as a midfielder. Welcome and congratulations Spencer Dayley.
