Recognition of UT players

As the spring season came to a close for high school sports, we want to extend some congratulations to the following players that will soon be joining the WWCC Mustangs from the state of UT. As of the time of this post the All-State Teams have not yet been released for Utah but we expect some of these same names to be recognized again.

Taylor Egbert of Bountiful High ended the season as the #7 scorer in the state of Utah with 18 goals, and the #2 scorer in 4A soccer. Taylor had the highest goals per game average in all of 4A with 1.06 goals per game average. Taylor lead his team to a Region crown and a birth in the Utah 4A quarterfinals in the state tournament. The BHS team had a +2.88 Goal Differential for the season, the second best in 4A.

Logan Anderson of Copper Hills High helped guide his team to a Region title and a place in the quarterfinals of the 5A Utah state tournament. Logan was crucial for a defense that average .5 goals allowed per match. CHHS was #1 in goal differential in all of 5A with a +2.56 difference.

Carson Broadhead and Yohan Yassin of Riverton High contributed to their team earning a place in the 5A Utah state soccer tournament, where they were also a quarter finalists. Riverton High on the season had a +.5 Goal differential and was ranked #11 in 5A for that category.

Congratulations to all these soon to be Mustangs. We will update when we get news of any All-State recognitions.
