Taylor West a sophomore from Pocatello Idaho and Pocatello High has signed his National Letter of Intent to play his second year for the Mustangs. He had a pretty good year as a freshman he had 18 saves, allowed only 5 goals on the season. Taylor's save percentage was 78% as a freshman. West started one match on the season but played in 8 halves. Taylor had 1 win to his credit and 1 shutout. He did have a hard time as a freshmen to find playing time behind Mitch Jensen, however we always felt that Taylor was one of the top keepers in our region. He possesses a good skill set including a nice set of hands, command of his team and defense and the ability to make huge and timely saves. We expect Taylor to be a leader on the field for the Mustangs this year and expect him to be able to prove he is one of the best keepers in the region.
