Tyler Trumble Adds to the Mustang Strength on the Field

On Wednesday Tyler Trumble a 2012 graduate from Green River High in Green River Wyoming signed his National Letter of Intent to play college soccer for the Western Wyoming Mustangs.  Tyler is a two-time 1st Team All state player for Wyoming.  In 2011 he was voted as a 1st team All State Defender and in 2012 he was voted to the 1st team as a Midfielder.  He was a 4 year starter at GRHS helping them to 4 straight years of participating in the Wyoming State Soccer Cup.  In those 4 straight years at the Wyoming State Soccer Cup Tyler and the Wolves played in the semifinal match twice.  The Wolves placed 3rd twice in Trumble's high school career and placed as Consolation Champions once also.

We are very excited to have Tyler as part of the WWCC Mustang family and part of the 2013 soccer team.  We see Tyler getting a lot of playing time in either the midfield or the back-line.  Tyler has the size, speed and skill to play in any of our 4 midfielder positions and any of our 4 defensive positions.  Tyler may have what it takes to excel as our central defensive midfielder with his knack to defend, stop the oppositions attack, distribute the ball accurately and take outside shots.

Tyler will also add to the Mustang's strength in the classroom has Tyler is not only a great player and wonderful person but an excellent student.  This is the first local Green River player to sign on for the Mustangs in a couple of years.  We are happy to keep Tyler close to home and let him show his skill and expertise on the pitch for the Mustangs.
