Western Unlucky in Road Loss at LCCC

After a tough weekend on the road in Region IX North play the Mustangs played at their oldest rivals on Wednesday in Cheyenne.

The Mustangs played very much like a road weary team not finding good first touches and being outhustled to most of the 50-50 balls.  The first half was pretty much dominated by the Golden Eagles of LCCC.  The home team, got on the board with a goal in the 30th minute finding a crease on the right side.  The halftime score was 1 - 0 in favor of LCCC.

Western played better in the second half but did not take enough shots or press the LCCC defense.  In the waning moments the Golden Eagles countered the Mustangs off of a corner kick and found a second goal in the 87th minute.  The final score was 2 - 0 for LCCC.  The loss brings the WWCC record to 3 - 2 - 2 and 1 - 2 - 0 in Region IX North.
