Eastern UT defeats WWCC

On Saturday the Mustangs were paired with the Golden Eagles of Eastern Utah.  In what is becoming an early season rivalry between the two schools they meet for the 3rd consecutive year early in the regular season.  The Mustangs netted first in the match when Ty Nielsen sent in a ball that Kyle Tilley put into the back of the net about halfway through the first half.  Eastern would even the score quickly after the Tilley goal and gain a lead of 2 to 1 before the halftime break.

In the second half the momentum stayed with the Golden Eagles of Eastern UT and they added two more goals to cruise to an easy 4 to 1 victory for Eastern Utah.  The loss drops the Western record on the young 2016 season to 0 - 1 - 1.
