Summer 2008 Update #1 (June) 10 items

All Players need to be sure that you have all paperwork completed before the first practice.

1) Apply for Admission at the college. See www.wwcc.wy.edu/admissions/registra.htm
Do this as soon as possible. It takes about 10 minutes and it is free

2) Apply for housing at the college (this of course is for those living on campus)
See www.wwcc.wy.edu/housing/ Be sure to inform them that you are a member of the men's soccer team

3) Send in your housing deposit - $150
The sooner this is done the better. You can even do it via the telephone at 307-382-1845

4) Complete the FAFSA for financial aid see www.fafsa.ed.gov/ (this is for players who are receiving a scholarship and are US citizens) WWCC cannot award any money until this is completed.

5) Sign and Return 1 copy of the National Letter of Intent and WWCC Letter of Intent. (This is of course only for those receiving an athletic scholarship) If your National Letter of Intent has not arrived don't worry it will come. Also if you have received a NLI send it back quickly.

6) For new students at WWCC, you need to complete a new student orientation and advising. Here are the dates: 6/23, 7/10, 7/21, 8/7, 8/11, 8/25. Contact admissions to sign up for one by e-mail at admissions@wwcc.wy.edu

7) Physicals are to be taken care of by the athlete again this year before our first practice. You will be receiving information and paperwork on these in a couple of weeks please use this for the physicals.

8) The college will also be sending you insurance information within the next two weeks. Get this done as quickly as possible and before the due date given to you by the college.

9) When registering for classes in the fall please realize that practice will be daily at 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Try to avoid classes and labs at this time.

10) We are planning on allowing sophomores to move in on Saturday August 9th and freshman on Sunday August 10th. Practice will start Monday morning August 11th.
