
On Friday in Laramie WY the WWCC Mustangs squared off against the University of Wyoming club team. The match saw the Cowboys score first in the 22nd minute after the ball bounced off of the crossbar to an oncoming Wyoming player who found the back of the net. The score at halftime was UW 1 - WWCC 0. The Mustangs, still not back on track after their match in Cheyenne and battling a flu bug, hand a lot more chances at goal in the second half but could not find the net. Joe Lake had 4 shots in the second half, Omar Jaimes had 2 shots with Kyle Seljaas, Mika Goodman and Gilbert Gonzalez each getting in one shot.
The Cowboys added two insurance goals in the 55th minute and the 72nd minute to take a lead that stayed for the rest of the match - UW 3 - WWCC 0.
