The Mustangs came out of the gates slow and allowed SLCC goals in the 4th and 10th minute of the match. But hand it to the Mustangs who picked up their play and intensity instead of quitting at such an uphill battle. The first WWCC goal was scored by Braxton Hamilton in the 28th minute when he was sent a great pass by Gilbert Gonzalez. But that was all the offense that WWCC could muster in the first half, the half time score was WWCC 1 - SLCC 2.
In the second half the Mustangs imposed their will on the Bruins and scored four goals. The equalizing goal cam from Brandon Bushman off of a Taylor Ford assist in the 57th minute. Mika Goodman provided the game winning goal in the 79th minute with a Braxton Hamilton assist. At this point of the match WWCC had a 1 goal lead and Colter Miller just might have saved the match as he made a kick save on the goal line after the ball had gotten past the WWCC keeper. The Mustangs kept the momentum and kept looking for more chances and found them. In the 82nd minute Phil Angerhoffer sent a great ball to Braxton Hamilton for his second goal of the match. The final goal was scored by Joe Lake in the 88th minute after Omar Jaimes touched it to him off of a long throw. This win moves the WWCC record back to .500 at 3 wins, 3 losses and 3 ties.
