Josh played his freshman season for the Mustangs in the fall of 2015. During the fall 2015 season Josh and the Mustangs had an overall record of 12-5-3. Individually, Rawson had 3 Shots, 1 Foul, 9 Starts and 30 Halves played. Josh played in and started many important matches for WWCC, including a win versus a then #5 ranked Otero Junior College.
After the 2015 season Josh served a 2 year LDS mission in Mexico. Josh returned for the spring 2018 semester and was able to workout with the team in the spring season. Rawson was a starter for the spring 2018 season as a center back for the scrimmages against USU-Eastern and Westminster. He was an integral part of the shutout versus the Westminster team in the spring.
Josh is a good student having a GPA above 3.0 in both semesters that he has completed at WWCC. The spring 2018 semester he was named to the Dean's Honor Roll. He is on track to graduate in May of 2019 with an Associates Degree. Josh's plan is to be an educator and coach in the future.
We are excited to have Josh back with the Mustangs. He is a great team player, outstanding leader and person. His height, soccer smarts and physicality make him a difficult person to get past for the opposition.
