Brody Bunker from Lindon Utah and a soon to be graduate from Pleasant Grove High School has committed to play men's college soccer with the Mustangs of Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY.
Western Wyoming's coaches first saw Brody play in the open tryout on the Rock Springs campus in the winter months of 2019. Bunker impressed with his quickness and speed on and off of the ball. He had good positioning and worked well with his teammates both on the offensive and defensive side of the ball.
Brody is an outside back which is one of the biggest needs for the Mustangs in the upcoming season. He can also play as an outside mid if needed, his club team even used him at times as a striker. Bunker has been playing soccer since he was 7 years old.
Brody has played with Utah Arsenal FC, coached by Shaun Johnson. With his club team he was part of a group that was; the U-17 Tournament Division Champions, U-19 Tournament Division Champions and were 2017 Regular Season Division Champions going undefeated during the season. Also with his comp team he was named and awarded Outstanding Defender.
Bunker is proud to be an Eagle Scout and that he was a manager for a Lawn Care Company. Brody is an honor roll student in high school and plan on studying Business while attending school and playing soccer at Western Wyoming.
We at WWCC are very excited to be adding this quality young man and player to the 2019-2020 squad. His soccer skills will help him fight for playing time as soon as he gets to campus. Congratulations Brody Bunker!
