Christian Mendoza from Rock Springs WY will return for his sophomore season at WWCC. Christian is a big, strong player who last season played a lot of midfield both defensive and outside. Christian also played a lot of center defense this spring. Mendoza has an awesome left foot and a good pace so he could even be utilized as a forward. Christian is a good team player and will be utilized where the team needs him. Christian really improved on the pitch last season and we expect the same from him this season. He has also taken care of his academics improving in those areas both semesters. We are very happy to have this fine young man to return to the team. One change is that Christian will now wear the jersey #2, he wore #19 his freshman year,
