- Tyler Wilkinson received 2nd Team 4A West All Region Defender
- Derek Smith was awarded 1st team 3A West All Region Midfield and 1st Team 3A All State Midfield
In Utah
- Jared Jess and his Murray High Spartans made it all the way to the 4A state championship match played in Rio Tinto stadium. Unfortunately Jared and his teammates fell to Olympus High. Jared has a good championship match including several dangerous cross and sent balls to his front line.
- Adrian Sanchez from Copper Hills High School fell to eventual 5A champions Davis High in the 5A Semi-final round. Adrian played very well.
- Mitch Jensen and the Darts from Davis High played their best soccer at the end of the season. They defeated Brighton High for the 5A Utah State Championship. A match played at Rio Tinto Stadium. Mitch was instrumental in keeping the BHS team off the scoreboard and helping DHS win their 2nd State Title in 3 years. Mitch was named 5A All State by the Deseret News, Salt Lake Tribune and Standard Examiner. Mitch had 12 shutouts during his Senior year including three straight in the 5A tournament. Mitch was also name the 5A MVP by the Deseret News. Mitch is shown on the left
We would like to say congratulations to all the future Mustangs as they wrapped up their high school playing careers and say how excited we are to see you in the WWCC Red, Black and White this fall. We did not include the future Mustangs from NV and ID that play their high school soccer in the fall. Their awards and achievements can be seen on their own press releases.
