The Trojans made some good adjustments at the half and the Mustangs might have been a little overconfident because the Trojans found themselves back into the match with a tied score in the second half. The TSJC goals were in the 69th minute on a penalty kick and the 72nd minute when they served a long ball that found a whole in the WWCC defense and were able to put it past WWCC keeper Mitch Jensen. WWCC did not panic and scored the game winning goal in the 73rd minute when Derek Smith played a nice little ball to Taylor Egbert who easily beat the keeper for his 10th goal of the season. The Mustangs dominated the last 15 minutes but were not able to score another insurance goal. The final score was WWCC 3 - TSC 2. The victory lifts the Mustang's record to 6 wins and 3 losses, and a 2 - 1 - 0 Region IX record.
