First Spring Scrimmage Date is set for 2013 Mustangs

The first spring scrimmage date is set for Saturday April 13th in Pocatello Idaho.  The WWCC spring team will be ready to play against the Idaho State University Club Team.  The scrimmage times are set for noon and 4 pm.  The scrimmages will be played at Bartz Field on Bartz Drive in Pocatello.  The spring 2013 Mustang soccer team will look different from the team that last took the field for the Red, White and Black at the NJCAA National Tournament in November.  We have several players who have their mission calls or are waiting for them; Mitch Jensen, Greg Howard and Derek Smith.  Christian Mendoza has joined the Marine Corps.  Back for the spring semester for the Mustangs are keeper Taylor West, forwards Steven Shelley, DJ Searcy and Bernard Manuel.  In the midfield are Taylor Egbert, Taylor Chesnovar, Richard Harris, Brandon Bushman, Nate Cutler and Ashenafi Negeri.  The returning defenders are Nathan Pierce, Adrian Sanchez, Cody Nice, Mitch Cooper and Logan Anderson.  Our three new additions to the spring team are keeper Gus Wagner from Rock Springs WY, and midfielders Adrian Montero, from Rawlins WY and Alejandro Bermudez from Pinedale WY.  The spring 2013 WWCC team will have their second date for spring scrimmages on Saturday April 27th when they head south to Provo to scrimmage against Utah FC and BYU.
