Futsal Event in Cheyenne

On Saturday March 7th in Cheyenne Wyoming the Western Wyoming Community College Men's Soccer team attended a futsal (indoor soccer) event hosted by LCCC.  The Mustang spring team was split into two different teams a red team and a grey team.  Each match was 25 minutes long played in the LCCC Multipurpose gymnasium.

The red team consisted of; Riley Gibson, Pedro Salmeron, Gunner Burrell, Alan Wendlandt, Isaac Rubio, Chase Bybee, Alejandro Bermudez, Colton Cottrell, Andrew Monroe and Austin Pinter.  The red team went 2 - 4 - 0 for the day.  The red team won against Sheridan College and Otero Junior College.  Their setbacks were against LCCC, Northwest Kansas Tech (twice) and Otero Junior College.  The goal scorers on the day for the red team were Riley Gibson - 3 (vs SC, vs NWKTC, vs OJC), Isaac Rubio - 2 (vs Otero), Alan Wendlandt - 1 (vs Otero) and Austin Pinter - 1 (vs LCCC).  Austin Pinter in goal got a shutout against Sheridan College.

The grey team consisted of; Jesse Cardenas, Victor Alatorre, Landon Jacobsen, Zac Roper, Eric Ramirez, Kasey Elizondo, Alfonso Garza, Adam Jeffs, Adam Stocks, Piero Levano and Eric Walker.  The grey team also went 2 - 4 - 0 for the day.  The grey team won against Otero Junior College and Northwest Kansas Tech.  Their losses came against Sheridan College, LCCC, Northwest Kansas Tech and Otero Junior College.  The grey team members who scored were Jesse Cardenas - 4, Zac Roper - 3, Adam Jeffs - 1 (10 goals total for the team).
