Carsen is a midfield player who likes to find space on the outside. He was a regular starter during his freshman year until the September 5th match against Northwest College. During that match Tinker tore his ACL and ended his freshman campaign. Carsen ended up missing 15 matches during the 2014 fall season.
Carsen's stats during his freshmen year were; 12 Shots, 1 Goal, 6 Fouls, 7 Starts, 15 Halves Played. His lone goal of the season was an overtime game winner against the Westminster JV team.
The knee recovery is going well, Tinker is practicing with the team and his hopeful to play in the final spring scrimmages against Utah State, Salt Lake CC and University of Utah. In the fall of 2015 Carsen is expected to have a stellar year and lead by example on and off of the field for the Mustangs.
