The halftime was stretched from its usual 15 minutes to more then 45 minutes long due to lightning delays in the area. After the delay the wind was now in Western's face and even stronger in the second half then it was in the first half. The first part of the second half the Mustangs had a hard time possessing the ball out of their back and played too much defense. The Trapper ended up scoring 3 times in the second half, all of their goals came off of corner kicks that the Trappers played dangerously into the box and used the wind to make the free pass even more deadly. After the three Trapper corner kick goals the Mustangs did possess the ball well but found it difficult to go into the wind and had too little time to mount a comeback. The first loss of the season for the Mustangs brings their record to 2 - 1 - 2 and a 0 - 1 - 0 Region IX North record.
