Under the lights at Rock Spring High School on the Tiger Turf the Mustangs played against the Trinidad State Junior College Trojans.
The Mustangs decided to play TSJC more defensively and keep as much of the play of the game in the middle of the pitch to avoid a similar defeat vs the Trojans as they had in September. All seemed to be going as planned until a goal was scored by the Trojans in the 24th minute. The halftime lead was 1 to 0 for the Trojans.
In the second half the Mustangs tried a new formation to gain a more consistent attack. The plan did not work well as TSJC dominated most of the play and possession in the second half. TSJC scored one more goal in the game in the 84th minute. Kyle Mivshek as keeper and the Mustang defense played well but were given a large task against a very good offensive team. The overall record for the Mustangs is now 8 - 7 - 1 after the 2 to 0 defeat.
Mustang Man of the Match: Tanner Trumble - for continued stellar play as the captain of the Mustangs.
