After a week of two-a-day practices, 25 total hours of practice, learning a new system, getting to know new teammates, three team meals a day, team meetings, getting to know the campus and many sore and aching muscles the 2008 version of the WWCC Men's Mustang Soccer is ready to hit the field. They will be traveling to Ogden UT for a game against Weber State.
The Mustangs have endured a few bumps and bruises but do expect most of their team to play tomorrow. The majority of the players are freshmen and will be getting their first taste of college soccer.
Here are the directions to the field in Ogden. The game will be played on the main grass field on the campus of Weber State. There is construction at the main entrance to WSU, so the easiest way to get to the field is to take 42nd Street (Country Hills Drive) east from Harrison Blvd up to TAYLOR Ave. Turn left on TAYLOR and head North to the campus. You will see the tennis courts on the left. The field is just west of the tennis courts. The kick-off is scheduled for 5:00 pm.
