The Mustangs were trying to shake off the effects of a tough Region lose the day before but did not play with a lot of pride and passion. The Huskies scored first in the 24th minute as they came down the right side of the Mustang defense and beat the keeper near post. The half time score stood at 1 - 0 in favor of the Air Force Prep School.
In the second half the Mustangs tried 2 new formations to try to jump start the team into playing better soccer and getting more chances on frame. Unfortunately the changes did not cure the defense for the Mustangs as they were scored on twice more in the 60th and 67th minute. The Mustangs found themselves down 3 - 0 and switched to a more offensive formation. The results were almost immediate however WWCC did not score until the 84th minute when Nathaniel Sellis found Gilbert Gonzalez on a through ball. Gilbert was able to chip the ball over the keeper and put WWCC on the board. Once again it was too little too late as the Mustangs dropped another match, final score Air Force Prep 3 - WWCC 1. This was the Huskies first ever win over WWCC in their rivalry.
