Jesse Cardenas Signs to Become a Mustang

Jesse Cardenas a senior at Gooding High in Gooding Idaho has signed to become the newest Mustang with Western Wyoming soccer.  Jesse comes from a successful high school program in Gooding ID where he and GHS won back to back Idaho state championships.
Jesse is shown in the picture on the left in the red shirt signing his National Letter of Intent in front of his school with his High School coach Roger Johnson, his mother and his teammate Carlos Gonzalez.
Cardenas had a wonderful tryout with the Mustangs in February and showed his strength, speed, soccer IQ and versatility.  Jesse is a midfield player who also stars as a forward.  He was a high school teammate of current Western Wyoming player Rico Mendez.  We are expecting Jesse to come into Western and fight for playing time and a starting spot at either forward, outside mid or center attacking mid.  Jesse should excel for the Mustangs both on and off of the field.  Welcome to Western Jesse Cardenas.
