From GRHS to the Mustangs Kamden Carroll

Kamden Carroll a 2016 graduate from Green River High School in Green River Wyoming has committed to college soccer at Western Wyoming Community College for the fall 2017 season.

Kamden was part of a Green River High Soccer team that had a lot of success throughout his high school career.  Kamden was a 4 year letter winner for GRHS.  As a sophomore he led the Wolves with the most assists in the 2014 season and helped GRHS become the Pinnacle Cup Champions and 4A West Regional Champions.  During his senior season Carroll was the leading point scorer for GRHS, including leading the team in assists and in goals for the 2016 season.  GRHS and Kamden were regular season 4A West Conference Champions and won the 2016 4A West Regional Tournament.  He earned a 1st Team 4A West All Conference player and a 2nd team 4A All State award.  One of the high school soccer accomplishments he is most proud of his the fact that while in high school Kamden and GRHS won the Sweetwater Cup four years in a row, this is the rivalry cup between Green River and Rock Springs.

Carroll is an Art Major while studying at WWCC.  He has been recognized for his artistic ability by being named Art Student of the Year for 2016.  Also Kamden received the WWCC Art Purchase Award, this means that Western Wyoming bought one of Carroll's ceramic pieces to display on campus.

Kamden joined the WWCC spring soccer team and got some rust off since he really had not played that much soccer since his senior year of high school.  He can play most attacking positions including forward, attacking mid and an outside mid.  He possesses good height, a physical mentality with good creativity to find scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates.  Western is excited to bring Kamden Carroll into the mix of the attacking players that we will have at our disposal for the 2017-2018 season.  Kamden should fit right in with the Mustangs to provide great depth and different attacking options for the team.  Welcome to Western Wyo Soccer Kamden Carroll.
