The match started poorly for the Mustangs as a penalty kick was call against WWCC within the first minute of play. Luckily for the Mustangs starting keeper Joe Venhaus was up to the task and blocked the penalty shot. The Mustangs continued to show strength on the defensive end against a powerful Snow attack. The score for both teams remained at zero until Snow scored in the 40th minute to take a 1 to 0 lead into the halftime break.
WWCC had several opportunities in front of goal, many in the second half. But the Mustangs were unable to find the correct combination on the day to get on the scoreboard. Snow College scored 5 goals in the second half - in the 70th, 71st, 81st, 85th and 88th minute of play. To add insult to injury WWCC's Ryan Arevalo was given a red card in the 88th minute and will be out the next match. The final score after 90 minutes was Snow 6 and WWCC 0. This match drops the WWCC record to 0 - 3 - 0 for the season.
