On Saturday in Sheridan the 2018 Mustangs continue to look for their first regular season victory and try to play better soccer as they played against Sheridan College.
The first half was so much better for WWCC than it was just a day ago at Gillette. Unfortunately, the Mustangs still allowed a goal. This goal came in the 9th minute off of corner kick opportunity. The Mustangs went into the break with a 1 goal deficit, the score was 0 - 1.
In the second half the game was still a back and forth affair until a Sheridan College goal broke open the match in the 69th minute of play. The second goal for SC deflated the Mustangs and gave added confidence to the home Generals. Sheridan added three more goals on the day, scoring in the 74th, 76th and 83rd minutes. The final score on the day Sheridan 5 and Western 0. This loss brought down the WWCC 2018 record to 0 - 13 - 0 and 0 - 6 - 0 in Region IX North play.
Mustang Man of the Match: Kayden Freeland - Kayden played a lot of the match in the midfield to help us out and played very well.
