During Carroll's freshman year he was a major contributor to the Mustangs from the beginning. Jaymin amassed 9 Shots, 2 Assists, 27 Fouls, 12 Starts and 43 Halves Played during his first year at Western. Jaymin was one of only a few players who played in every match for WWCC in 2018. He only missed playing in one half of play as a caution after he had been struck in the head.
Jaymin primarily is a center defensive mid for WWCC. He also has the creativity and soccer skills to play further up the pitch in the midfield or even fill in as a defender if he was called upon.
This spring Jaymin did a great job of learning his role as the lone defensive midfield in the WWCC midfield. He uses his body well to thwart offensive attacks from the opposition. Also this past off-season and spring Jaymin was chosen as a freshmen spring captain and showed great leadership to his peers. Carroll worked hard on the training pitch this spring, in the weight room and during indoor soccer to improve his athleticism and skills as a player.
Jaymin did a great job in the classroom for his first year also. He met and exceeded the team goal of every player on the team earn a GPA od 3.0 or higher.
We are excited to welcome Jaymin back to WWCC for his sophomore year and wish him the best of luck both on and off of the field.
