Justin Pfeil - 2019 Mustang Sophomore

Justin Pfeil will once again suit up for the Western Wyoming Community College Men's Soccer team in the fall of 2019.  Justin graduated from Copper Hills High School and lives in West Jordan Utah.

Pfeil's freshman campaign was a little slow starting as he sustained an injury during training camp.  Justin did not see playing time for the Mustangs until the first match in September.  He played well for WWCC from that point on.  In the fall of 2018 Justin compiled the following stats; 3 Shots, 1 Goal, 13 Fouls, 4 Starts and 30 Halves Played.  Justin played a variety of roles on the field for the Mustangs, he was a center defensive mid, outside back and an occasional center back.

The winter months and spring scrimmage season showed Justin's work ethic and continued growth.  Justin added muscle from his workouts during the off-season.  Pfeil continued to grow as a player on the field.  During the spring season Justin played in all 4 scrimmages and was a big contributor to our back line.  He mainly played as an outside back while getting some time as a defensive mid.

Justin plans to graduate in December of 2019 with an Associate's Degree in Pre-Radiology.   Justin achieved a GPA in both of his semesters to be named to the Dean's Honor Roll.

Western hopes that Justin continues to grow as a person, student and soccer player.  We plan on using his versatility on the field to benefit the team.  We look for him to help out the Mustangs as a midfielder (defensive mid or outside mid) and as a defender (outside back).  Good luck to you Justin in all your endeavors this fall.
