Ryan had a good freshman year in 2018 for the Mustangs but was bothered by a few injuries. In his first year Arevalo had 3 Shots, 11 Fouls, 17 Starts and 35 Halves Played. In the fall season Ryan saw a lot of action as a defensive mid and as an outside midfielder. He even hit the field as an attacking midfielder from time to time.
The off-season months of November to May were good to Ryan as he gained weight and muscle mass in the weight room for a stronger and healthier sophomore campaign. He showed maturity and growth as a student, soccer player and leader. We were very happy with his work rate and his ability to be positive and happy in the daily struggle and grind.
In the 2019 spring scrimmage season Ryan showed his improvement and development as he played in all 4 scrimmages. He had 2 assists in those scrimmages.
In the classroom Ryan is doing a good job to maintain a high GPA and get his credits along the way. He was accrued more than half the credits he needs to graduate with his Associate's Degree in the spring of 2020.
