Sophomore Returner - Nicaise Kangah

Nicaise Kangah will play his second season in the Red, Black and White of the Mustangs of Western Wyoming.

Nicaise came to WWCC in January of 2018 to pursue his academic endeavors in the United States.  Nicaise is originally from the West African nation of the Ivory Coast.

Kangah is an attacking player who can use his speed and skills to penetrate and break down defenses.  He played mainly as an outside mid and an attacking midfielder last season.  He also occasionally found some time as a striker.  In the fall 2018 season Nicaise amassed the following stats; 6 Shots, 1 Goal, 1 Assist, 7 Fouls, 4 Starts and 35 Halves Played.

In the classroom Nicaise is a very serious student and he does a good job to achieve high marks.  He is on track to graduate in May of 2020 with an Associate's degree.

Starting way back in December of 2018 until the summer of 2019 Nicaise has devoted himself to become more of a physical presence on the pitch.  He has worked hard in the weight room, on the futsal court and again on the training ground.  Nicaise played well in our four 2019 spring scrimmages especially learning to get his timing down with his teammates and play at the same tempo as them.  We welcome back Nicaise and are happy that he will be a Mustang for one more season.
