Zach Plitt a soon to be sophomore at Western Wyoming has returned from his 2 year LDS mission to Cleveland OH and signed his National Letter of Intent. Zach is from American Fork Utah and a graduate from American Fork High School. He played a year for the Mustangs before leaving for his mission. Zach's best position on the pitch is as an outside back or defender. During his freshman year his stats were 14 Starts and 36 Halves Played. Both very impressive numbers for a freshman player. Zach seemed to play left outside back more frequently as a freshman. Plitt possesses good speed, toughness and consistency.
We at Western look forward to having Zach back and using his talents to ensure a tough, cohesive back line for the Mustangs. Zach may also be utilized at other positions on the pitch if necessary, he was impressive during the spring 2011 season at a midfield and forward positions for the team that spring. However we feel his skill set is best suited for playing on the back line. Zach is an awesome person, excellent student and wonderful teammate. We are proud to announce that this young man has rejoined the WWCC family to finish up his NJCAA playing career and get his associate degree.
