McKay Rodabough a Western Wyoming Mustang

McKay Rodabough from Eagle Mountain Utah and a Westlake High graduate has signed his National Letter of Intent to play Men's Soccer at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY.

McKay is a 2013 graduate for WHS.  After graduation McKay served an LDS mission to Mexico before his tryout and soccer scholarship offer at Western Wyoming in the winter/spring of 2016.  In high school McKay played for the Thunder of Westlake High.  He scored 3 goals in his final 2 years with WHS.  He joins DJ Searcy and Chris Clymore as past Westlake players on the Western Wyoming soccer team.  Every Westlake player who has ever played for the Mustangs has been very fundamentally sound and has worked their tails off for WWCC.  We expect the same out of Rodabough.

McKay will probably be used on the outside of the pitch due to his pace and ability to take on players 1 v 1.  We feel that Rodabough could be equally effective as an outside midfielder or an outside back.  His possesses a strong leg and whips the ball in very well from wide positions.  McKay's age should help out a young 2016 to quickly mature and make another run at a Region IX title.

We are very happy with McKay's decision to join the Mustangs and know that he will be a great addition for the team both on and off of the pitch.  Welcome to Western McKay.
