Seth Romsa a Sophomore Back for Western

Seth Romsa a 2015 graduate from Kelly Walsh High in Casper WY and a member of the 2015 Western Wyoming soccer team has once again signed a National Letter of Intent to play his sophomore year at Western Wyoming.

As a freshman Seth was a great contributor off of the bench. Seth was usually used as a forward at the end of halves and matches to maximize his speed to catch teams off-guard.  Seth's other consistent opportunities were as an outside mid to let the starters get their breathe.  Romsa was one of the freshmen forwards that were behind three of the best forwards in Western Wyoming soccer history; Jesse Cardenas, Jose Rincon and Riley Gibson.  As a freshman Seth's stats were; 3 Shots, 1 Foul and 28 Halves Played.  One of the greatest accomplishments of Seth's first year at Western is that he earned an Academic All-Conference award in the classroom.

During the 2016 spring scrimmage season we have seen a lot of growth as a soccer player and a person in Seth.  There were scrimmages were we relied on Seth to be one of our lead forwards and he did a great job as a forward.  There were other scrimmages that he also saw time as an outside defender.  Seth has a high soccer IQ and understands the game very well.  He should have a great sophomore campaign and contribute even more his second year as a leader on and off of the field.  Welcome back Seth!
