Camen Gray Signs On for 2016 Mustangs

Camen Gray from Morgan Utah and Morgan High School has officially signed his National Letter of Intent with the Western Wyoming Community College Men's Soccer team.

Camen was originally recruited by Western out of high school, spring of 2013.  Camen first served an LDS mission to Eastern Europe (Albania) for two years before attending Western Wyoming.  Camen started his academic endeavor at Western in the spring of 2016.  Camen did very well during his first semester as a student athlete. Gray earned a spot on the Presidential Honor Roll for spring 2016.  The Presidential Honor Roll is given to students who had a perfect GPA, a 4.0 for the semester.

By joining Western in January, Gray was able to train with the WWCC team and coaching staff during the spring 2016 season.  He saw spring scrimmage action in the LCCC Futsal Tournament and scrimmages versus Westminster, Weber State Club and Utah Valley Club.

In high school Camen helped out his team by playing in the midfield and back line.  He has the skill and speed to also be a threat as a striker. During the spring scrimmage season Camen saw a lot of time as an outside defender, outside midfielder and also as a striker.  Both Camen and the coaching staff felt that his best position for the spring was an outside defender.  Regardless of what position Camen plays the most during the fall 2016 season and beyond we know that Camen will play his heart out for the Mustangs and his teammates.

We are excited for the addition of this wonderful and talented young man and wish him the best of luck as he starts out his collegiate career as an athlete and a student.
