Kade said of his commitment to WWCC, “Obviously the tuition is one reason but I also wanted to stay close to home and my parents, I know a lot of the players and since it’s close to home I have met most of the other players."
As a junior at RSHS Kade scored 7 goals and had 2 assists. Moeller was selected as a member of the 1st team 4A West All Conference Soccer team and a member of the 1st Team 4A Wyoming All State Soccer team. Currently during his senior season Kade has notched 6 goals and assisted 4 other goals. With these 2017 goals Moeller at this time has amassed 17 high school goals and 7 assists. Moeller is a captain on the 2017 RSHS Tiger Soccer team and is helping them on a great season. As of the press release RSHS is ranked #3 in the 4A for the state of Wyoming. The current RSHS Boy's Soccer team record is 8 - 1 - 0 including a Pinnacle Cup Tournament Championship.
Kade is a very gifted forward who uses his speed and height along with an unselfish attitude to be a player to be reckoned with. Kade will join two returning forwards for the Mustangs, Josh Abplanalp and Briston Lowell. Kade should work well with all forwards on the Western team and provide a different type of player and forward for the Mustangs.
Western has followed Moeller's career at RSHS but was also impressed with him at a try-out held on campus. He ran the fastest 40 yard dash time of any 2017 recruit and played very simply finding the open man and pass. He never forced the ball including his shot.
The Mustangs are excited to have such a wonderful addition to the soccer program and will do very well as a student athlete at Western Wyoming.
