Ramon, from Clinton UT, toured the WWCC campus during the fall semester and made a lasting impression on the Western Wyoming coaching staff and players. Aparicio showed during his fall 2016 tryout that he could play at the speed and skill level necessary for the NJCAA level.
Western anticipates Ramon to make an impact for the Mustangs immediately in the midfield. WWCC only has 1 returning starter from the midfield that helped the Mustangs earn a birth in the 2016 Region IX NJCAA Semifinals. Ramon is a versatile player that we think could be of help as a center midfield and of course as an outside midfielder.
Ramon played with the Rampage Club team were he has found a lot of success on the soccer pitch. Aparicio and Rampage won the 2016 National President's Cup. This national tournament was held in Tulsa Oklahoma.
Aparicio plays prep soccer for the Titans of Syracuse High. Currently in the SHS soccer team is 5 - 3 - 0 overall and 3 - 1 - 0 record in a very tough and competitive Region 2 of 5A Utah Soccer. One of their Region 2 wins is over Viewmont High the returning 5A Boy's Soccer State Champs.
Western Wyoming is so happy to get such an experienced and mature young man to sign with them as he starts his post secondary education. Good luck Ramon in your future endeavors at Western Wyoming and with the Mustangs.
