Western Cannot Find Net Again versus Plainsmen

On a cool Friday in Rock Springs the Western Wyoming Mustangs played the Plainsmen from Northeastern Junior College for the second time in the 2013 season.  The second match was eerily similar to the first match with the Mustangs controlling most of the match but unable to score.  The lone goal in the match occurred in the 15th minute when NEJC quickly countered and found a seam in the Mustang defense and the 1 v 1 with the Mustang keeper Taylor West was good enough to score.  The halftime score was 1 - 0 in favor of NEJC.
The second half was again controlled by the Mustangs but missing the final shot or pass to beat the Plainsmen defense.  WWCC had 6 shots in the second half with the NEJC keeper saving 5 of the shots.  The Mustangs thought that they had scored with seconds left on the clock when a Vitor Nazareth free kick bounced into the goal from about 25 yards out with touching another player.  However the Mustangs were called for an offsides and the goal was negated.
