Carsen Tinker, Bountiful Brave now a Mustang

Carsen Tinker a senior from Bountiful High in Bountiful Utah has committed to signed to play on for the Western Wyoming Community College men's soccer team.  This continues a long tradition of Bountiful Braves who later become Western Wyoming Mustangs.  The list of BHS alumni at WWCC is extensive including All-Region IX players; Taylor Egbert, Joe Lake, Kyle Seljaas and Spencer Mohlman.  Carsen brings a good combination of size and speed to the pitch.  He has good vision, field awareness and soccer know how.  We at Western see Carsen playing either an attacking mid, outside midfielder or a striker.  Carsen scored 8 goals for the BHS team in 2014 while leading the team to a second place finish in their region.  The Braves sadly, were upset in the first round of the 4A tournament this season.  Carsen scored five goals for his high school team during his junior campaign, for 13 career high school goals.  Carsen and his Braves teammates won the 2013 4A Utah State Championship.  We are super excited to add such a great player, quality young person and wonderful student to our roster.  We wish Carsen the best of luck as he tries to continue to be another name in the list of great Bountiful High players at Western Wyoming.
