2017 Sophomore Striker - Briston Lowell

Briston Lowell from Middleton Idaho and Middleton High School has signed his second National Letter of Intent to finish his NJCAA soccer career playing for the Western Wyoming Community College Mustangs.

As a freshmen with WWCC Briston had 29 Shots, 6 Goals, 9 Fouls, 23 Starts and 48 Halves Played.  Briston played in all 24 matched if the 2016 Western Wyoming fall season.  His only missed start was due to a twisted ankle that hampered him at the beginning of the match.  Lowell and Grayson Barnes were the leading scorer for the 2016 fall Mustangs.

Briston plays mainly as a forward but can be utilized as an attacking mid or an outside midfielder if the need was presented for the team.  The 2017 spring has brought a leadership position to Briston as he was asked to be a Spring 2017 team captain.

This spring Briston scored 1 goal and assisted on 2 goals.   He played a lot of the spring as an attacking midfielder and forward.  Briston continue to be dominant in the air and uses his powerful left foot to terrorize the opposition's keeper and back line.  We are so happy to have Briston make for the 2017 fall season.  Briston is majoring in General Studies and plans to graduate in December of 2017 before pursuing his further academic at a 4 year university.
