Jaymin Carroll Joins WWCC for 2018

Jaymin Carroll from Rock Springs WY and a soon to be Rock Springs High graduate has signed his National Letter of Intent to continue playing soccer while he attends Western Wyoming Community College.

Jaymin plays as a center mid and does a great job as a defensive midfielder.  Carroll attended a tryout for WWCC soccer in November and showed that he has the necessary skills to excel at the next level of soccer.  Western plans to utilize his talents at that center defensive mid role for the Mustangs but we know that he could even be utilized as an outside midfielder, attacking midfielder or even an outside back.

As a student for Rock Springs High Jaymin has been involved in many areas besides just soccer.  Carroll is a member of the RSHS Student Council and involved in the Fire Law Leadership Academy.  He volunteers his time to be a member of Athletes for Literacy and is consistently on the Honor Roll after each grading term for RSHS.

For the Tigers, Jaymin is a 3 year letter winner in Soccer and received 4A West All Conference Soccer recognition twice, 2016 and 2017.  Carroll with his RSHS Tiger Soccer teammates were 2017 conference and regional champions.  In his high school career Jaymin has helped the Tigers of RSHS to win the Pinnacle Cup on two separate occasions.

Besides playing high school soccer with the RSHS Tiger, Jaymin has also played with; the Rock Springs Avengers, Park City Extreme and the Wyoming ODP team.

Jaymin is the younger brother of recently graduated WWCC Mustang Kamden Carroll.  Jaymin plans on attending Western for a semester before serving an LDS mission.  After his 2 year church mission Jaymin expects to return to Western to finish his degree and soccer playing career.  Western is happy to have added such a fine student, young man and soccer player.  We look forward to Jaymin adding to Western's team both on and off of the field.
