Josh Crew from Syracuse High to WWCC

Josh Crew, a soon to be graduate from Syracuse High in Syracuse Utah, has signed his National Letter of Intent to play college soccer at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY.
Josh plays as a forward and does so for both the Syracuse High Titans and the Rampage Soccer team.  Josh came to the WWCC campus in the winter for a campus tour and tryout and impress the coaches with his ability to finish in front of net and his great speed.
Crew's club team was ranked #6 in Utah through GotSoccer. At the end of the fall 2017 season Crew and his club team were tied for first place in the Premier 2 division. Some of the success he had with the club team is winning the Avalanche College Showcase, the Utah Surf Cup and the 2016 Dixie State Invitational.  Josh and his team were also 2017 runners up in the same Dixie State Invitational.

Josh has other interests outside of soccer, Crew has won the Syracuse High Movie Making Contest for two years running.  He is very musically inclined and has the ability to play both the ukulele and the guitar.

Josh is a needed addition to the Mustangs as the starting forwards of Josh Abplanalp and Briston Lowell have both used their eligibility and will graduate from WWCC.  We expect Josh to push for immediate playing time his freshman year using his speed and scoring ability to add to the Mustang attack.  Congrats to Josh for continuing his academic and soccer careers at the next level.
