Winson Ha - 2018 WWCC Soccer Recruit

Winson Ha a soon to be graduate from Karl G Maeser Prep Academy in Lindon Utah has signed his National Letter of Intent to play soccer at Western Wyoming Community College.

Winson plays as a defender on the soccer pitch.  Winson is suited to play as both an outside back with his speed and offensive abilities or as a center back because of his understanding of the game and his soccer intelligence.

Ha plays in high school for the Lions at Maeser Prep in the UHSAA 3A - Region 14. Currently Ha and the Lions are in position to qualify again for the state playoffs.
 
Along with playing for his high school Winson has also played soccer with comp teams since he was 13 years old.  Some of the successes for Winson and his teams are; a 4th place in State while in 8th grade,  4th place in the Adidas Cup and 2nd place in the Utah Cup.

Off the field Winson Ha is an outstanding student earning his place on the Honor roll nine times and the High Honor roll eight times.  Winson has taken four concurrent enrollment classes while still in High School.  This final semester of his high school career he is doing and internship at Scoreboard Sports.

Winson has participated in many drama productions as well as drama and Shakespeare competitions since 8th grade.   Ha received a 2nd place finish in contemporary in region drama and a 2nd place finish in Shakespeare for ensemble on two separate occasions.
 
Ha has helped with many service projects over the years, including making blankets to donate to homeless shelters.  Winson is an Eagle Scout.  After playing for WWCC in he fall of 2018 he plans on serving a 2 year LDS mission.

WWCC is pleased to have Winson Ha as a member of their soccer team as we know he will represent himself and the team very well as a soccer player, a student and a member of the community.
