Kingdom Wanjoku - WWCC Mustang - 2018 Recruit

Kingdom Wanjoku a soon to be graduate from Rock Springs High School in Rock Springs WY has recently signed his National Letter of Intent to play college soccer at Western Wyoming Community College.

Kingdom attended a tryout on the WWCC campus in the winter months and impressed with his physical abilities and his soccer skills.  Kingdom usually plays in the midfield and often as an outside midfielder due to his speed and pace of play.  We at Western know that Kingdom could help us in any of our midfield roles and even as a striker or an outside defender.

Wanjoku has been an integral part of the RSHS success on the soccer pitch in the recent years.  Currently in the 2018 spring season Kingdom has 5 goals and 3 assists as the Tigers of RSHS are currently ranked #3 in 4A Wyoming soccer.

Off of the soccer field Kingdom is a model student at RSHS - recently Kingdom was named the Rock Springs High Invested Student of the Month for April.  Wanjoku has participated in the RSHS Energy Academy, the student council and National Honor Society.  Kingdom is also been involved in the community through the Boy's and Girl's Club.

The Rock Springs High Soccer coach said of Kingdom, "Kingdom is a very focused young man in all that he does and is a very well rounded person. He is a pleasure to coach and every player on our team looks up to his leadership and respects him.”

Western is certainly lucky to have such a well rounded person and soccer player on our team for years to come.
