The Mustangs started the match with only six substitutes on the bench due to some injuries and illness on the team. The physical play would leave the WWCC team with less healthy players by the end of the day. Otero has traditionally had a high powered offense and did not disappoint as they scored three goals in the first half against the beat up and battered WWCC team. Otero's goals came in the 16th, 27th and 30th minutes of play. Even with the odds stacked against them the Mustangs did not slow their effort. In the 35th minute the Mustangs scored on of their best goals on the season when Jackson Monk started the attack with a pass from the back. Then Kingdom Wanjoku assisted on the goal by Colton Mathys. The score after the first half was OJC 3 and Western Wyo 1.
The second half saw more offense from the Rattlers with the Mustangs struggling on both ends of the field. OJC scored in the 63rd minute to take a 4 to 1 lead. That score would remain the same for the remainder of the match. The loss drops the Mustang overall record to 0 - 9 - 0.
Mustang Man of the Match: Karson Liddell - Karson played in a new position, center defensive mid and played pretty well.
