2019 Spring Season Comes to a Close in Logan for WWCC

On Saturday in Logan the 2019 WWCC Men's Soccer team finished their spring season.  The final scrimmage was in Logan Utah against the USU Men's Club.

The match did not start well for WWCC as USU scored in the first 3 minutes.  The Mustangs settled down and actually played better soccer than USU for many stretches of the first half.  At the break the halftime score was 1 to 0.

In the second half the Mustangs pressed too much and lost contain on the outside several times that lead to goal scoring opportunities for the Aggies.  USU scored on four of those chances.  WWCC had some shots at goal in particularly Kingdom Wanjoku and Javier Arvayo.  The final score of the scrimmage would be USU 5 and WWCC 0.

Playing in their final soccer contest for the Red and Black of the Mustangs were sophomore Josh Rawson and freshman Jackson Monk.

Up next for the Mustangs is the 2019 fall season starting in August.
