Alec Adam Joins the Mustangs

Alec Adam a senior at Skyline High School in Salt Lake City Utah has signed his National Letter of Intent to play college soccer at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY.

Alec plays as an outside midfielder but can also play as an outside back.  Adam impressed at a tryout in January on campus at WWCC.  On that day Alec showed off great foot skills, good speed and deceptive quickness.

Alec is currently playing with his Skyline High team, who are in the 1st Round of the UHSAA 5A playoffs this week.  Alec and the Eagles finished in 4th place in Region 6 during the 2019 spring season.  As a team SHS has only allowed 12 goals in 15 regular season matches.

During his junior year, spring 2018,  Alec was part of the Skyline High team that finished first in their region.  The Eagles advanced all the way to the UHSAA 5A Semifinals that season.

Adam has also played club soccer. Alec played P1 soccer.  He and his teammates won 5 medals in 5 tournaments.

Off of the field, Alec is interested in studying Biology while at Western.  Alec was nominated and participated in the Skyline Hope Squad.  The Hope Squad is a student lead organization that help high school students who are suffering from depression.  Another amazing accomplishment is that Alec Adam helped raise $3,500 for the Mansally Foundation.  The money was used to provide food and medicine for tribes in the country of Gambia.  He has also  received the American Sign Language Merit Award.  Finally, Alec was voted to have the best hair at Skyline High.

Western Wyoming is very excited to have Alec join us for the next couple of years.  He will fit in nicely with the goals we have on the field and off of it.  Good luck to you Alec.
