Zaxton Hillman at WWCC for 2019

Zaxton Hillman, from Stansbury Park Utah, a rising sophomore at WWCC will play his second season for the Mustangs in the fall of 2019.

As a freshman, Zaxton compiled 22 Shots, 14 Fouls, 7 Starts and 44 Halves Played.  Hillman was one of the few players who played in every half for the 2018 season.


Most of the playing time that Zaxton saw as a freshman in the fall was as a forward.  In the off-season, Zaxton was diligent in the weight room and learning and applying new skills while playing futsal and during the spring outdoor training sessions.


In the spring Zaxton did see some time again at forward but he also expanded his horizons and his versatility as he played a lot of center back during the spring training sessions and the spring scrimmages.  Zaxton played in all 4 spring scrimmages as a center back.  He also played as a forward in most scrimmages.


We are so happy to have Zaxton return to WWCC soccer.  Whether he is scoring or stopping goals in the fall of 2019, Zaxton is bound to have a wonderful sophomore campaign.  Congrats Zaxton.
